Oddity Theatre presents INTO THE WOODS, a musical comedy written by Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine. It promises a dark and humorous twist on the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tales.
The show was a big success on Broadway, winning Tony and Olivier Awards. It weaves together beloved storybook characters in a timeless yet relevant masterpiece.
The ongoing theme of "be careful what you wish for" explores the consequences of our actions and the sacrifices we must make in a comically dark way.
INTO THE WOODS features cherished songs such as "Children Will Listen," "Stay With Me," and "No One Is Alone.” Inspiring the smash-hit Disney film released in 2014, which featured a star-studded cast including Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden, Anna Kendrick, and Johnny Depp.
