AUDITIONS!

THE DEADLINE FOR AUDITIONS HAS NOW PASSED.

Fancy being part of the MAGIC OF PANTO this Christmas?

We are holding open auditions for Beauty and the Beast - ‘a tale as old as pantomime’ on Sunday, 1st September at the Athenaeum Warminster!

Performance dates | 12th to 24th December 2024 (12 performances)

All character roles will be cast to adults (amateurs or retiring professionals!) and those in School Years 12 and 13.

We are also seeking a talented ensemble to perform in musical numbers throughout, primarily singing and dancing. You must be in School Year 5 or above. (There is no upper age limit.)

The ensemble will be split into two teams (Red and Blue) and perform in a total of 6 shows each.*

*Ensemble in School Year 12 and above will perform in all 12 shows.

Cast commitment

We rehearse weekly on Thursday evenings (7 pm to 9.30 pm)* and Sunday mornings (10.30 am to 1 pm), with some Tuesday evening rehearsals towards the end of November.

*Cast members in primary school will finish rehearsals at 8:30 pm on Thursdays.

Please download the draft rehearsal schedule to see a list of all dates you will be required to be in attendance.

(Make sure to list any conflicts on your audition application form. Conflicts won’t necessarily preclude you from being cast in the show.)

There are no membership or participation fees

If you are cast in the show, we just ask that you actively spread the word, encouraging everyone you know to buy tickets!

*You’ll also need to supply your own personal accessories: e.g. Make-up, stage shoes, white/nude coloured underwear, socks/tights, dance bras/shorts (if applicable) etc. A list of items will be provided for each cast member.

Everything else is supplied for you!
